Hays Accountancy & Finance is recruiting an Accounts Assistant for this established and well respected local employer in Hull. The business continues to grow and expand and they now require an experienced accounts assistant with good excel skills to join their team.
Your new role
As Accounts Assistant, you will be involved in the following:
Reconciling stock on Excel on a daily basis
Producing daily sales and profit reports using Excel
Processing sales invoices
Performing daily bank reconciliation's
Maintaining a small purchase ledger
Supporting the Accounts Manager and team with any ad hoc duties
This is an interesting and varied role, requiring good attention to detail, strong excel skills, good organisation skills and the ability to multi-task. You will be working in a friendly and welcoming team of 8 accounts staff who help each other out when required.
What you will need to succeed
You will have good all round accounts experience. You will have good Excel skills, experience of using pivot tables and vlookups is essential. You will be organised, with good time management skills and the ability to multi-task. You will enjoy working in a friendly and close-knit team.
What you will get in return
A competitive starting salary of up to GBP22,000 per annum, working hours of 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch (35 hours per week), free car parking, staff discounts, recently refurbished and modern offices.
