We have a great opportunity for Pipefitters/Welders with experience of working within an industrial food manufacturing environment to join our on-site team working in Burton Latimer.
The Role:
You will be required to carry out pipefitting and welding activities and installations across an industrial food manufacturing site adhering to the british standards.
You should be competent in carrying out small bespoke fabrication work to meet requirements working with stainless steel and carbon steel
You will also be required to operate fabrication machinery such as hydraulic guillotine, hydraulic brake press, rollers, band saw and pillar drill within an onsite workshop.
Working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Some overtime and weekend work will be required.
Skills / Experience Required:
You should have a strong pipefitting and welding background and be able to read P&ID drawings.
Wedling experience in TIG, MIG and MMA is required. Pipefitting experience in mild and stainless steel is required. Some Aliminium welding will also be required.
Qualifications:
You must possess a mechanical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or BTEC). Welder qualifications preferred; if you do not have codings you should be capable of being coded.
