Our client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.
They have an opportunity for a Health and Social Care Lecturer to join their Faculty of Management, Health and Technology to work primarily with students engaged across a range of courses providing a high level of support needed to achieve their programme of study.
The post holder will need to be innovative in their teaching methods and responsible for aspects of leadership within the curriculum.
With previous experience of teaching subject specialism and of working with a wide range of students, the successful candidates will have a background in Further/Higher Education and will be capable of working with students of all ages in classroom, workshop and one to one situations, including students from 14 to 16. A subject specialist qualification at a minimum of level 3 / 4 is essential and you should hold a Certificate of Education/PGCE or be willing to work towards this.
