Science/Chemistry Technician
Salary: APTC Scale 3 points 5-6 £18,795 to £19,171
Actual salary paid: £11,784 to £12,020
27 hours per week - term time plus 3 inset days
We are looking to appoint a Chemistry/science technician to provide an efficient and effective support for the science department. Hopefully, the successful candidate would be able to start in October or the nearest opportunity.
Duties include; preparing equipment and chemicals for lessons, ensuring equipment and laboratories are tidy and safe. Awareness of Health and Safety regulations eg COSHH and ability to undertake routine maintenance of equipment.
