Salary:  £10,632.81 – £12,334.08 (Pro rata of £20,706 - £24,019) + excellent benefits

Contract Type: Fractional, 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Permanent. (0.5 fte)

We are currently recruiting a Workplace Co-ordinator in Initial Teacher Education to join the team here at South Devon College. You will be required to support the Curriculum Head in the co-ordination of delivery of relevant Work Based Learning including Traineeship/Apprenticeship, Work Experience and Work Base Project funded programmes as part of core qualifications or as enrichment. To be responsible for the recruitment of learners and employers and the support of both relating to Work Based and Work Experience programmes.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Grade C or above in Maths and English or to achieve these if appointed in post, and an assessor qualification. Previous experience in a similar role i.e. arranging placements for trainees, working with apprentices, assessing learner outcomes. The ability to work effectively without supervision, be well organised and have good time management.
