Protocol is seeking for learning support assistants/teaching assistants with British sign language (BSL) experience.
Candidates with successful outcomes will be required to help and support the development of hearing-impaired pupils of all ages across the school. In addition to that, they will also support academic studies, progress pupil's communication and social abilities within the classroom setting.
Skills and qualifications required:
•Certified in British Sign language (BSL) level 2 or above
•Communicate with parents and carers
•Able to relay BSL from hearing impaired students to non-signing students or adults.
•Excellent strategic & communication skills, the ability to use initiative and that can work well under pressure.
•Positions are subject to an enhance disclosure barred service
