Project Officer, Scottish Forum on Natural Capital

Circa GBP25,000
We are looking for an exceptional individual with the drive and commitment to support the delivery of the vision for the Scottish Forum on Natural Capital.
Natural capital can be defined as the world's stocks of natural assets which include geology, soil, air, water and all living things.
It is from this natural capital that humans derive a wide range of services, often called ecosystem services, which make human life possible.
The Scottish Forum on Natural Capital is a ground-breaking initiative bringing together public, private and voluntary sector organisations to protect and rebuild Scotland's natural capital.
We are now looking for someone to drive this initiative on a day-to-day basis by providing the secretariat function, promoting strong programme management, coordinating stakeholder involvement and keeping up-to-date with latest developments in the field.
If you have experience of working in a multi-stakeholder environment, have excellent communication skills, a proven track record of achieving results and a sound understanding of this rapidly evolving area, we would love to hear from you.
