Now, we’re looking for a number of Junior Carpenters to join our team in Clevedon.

The Role   

As a Junior Carpenter, you’ll prepare materials and assemble high-quality wood cases.   

In this varied role, you’ll learn how to use a range of old and new semi-automated saws to cut timber and manufacture cases in-line with customers’ requirements.   

About You   

To be considered, you’ll need:   

- Some evidence of carpentry, wood skills, DIY and/or assembly work, such as working as a shop fitter
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport (due to our location)   
- A great eye for detail   
- A positive attitude   

It would be great if you had some experience of working with wood or operating compressed air hand tools for case assembly, but this isn’t essential. The ability to read technical drawings would also be an advantage.   

Other companies may call this role Wood Machinist, Trainee Carpenter, Machinist, Machine Operative, Assembly Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Production Technician, Joiner or Wood Machinery Operative.   

This is a full-time role, working rotating early and late shifts, or late shifts only if preferred.   

Early shifts are 6:00 – 14:00 Monday – Thursday, and 6:00 – 12:30 on Friday.   

Late shifts are 13:00 – 21:00, Monday – Thursday, and 12:00 – 18:30 on Friday.
