Human Resources Apprentice
Malvern College is seeking to appoint an HR Administration Apprentice. The role will provide administrative and HR support to the HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain HR and administrative experience within the education sector.
Duties will include:
- Processing applications and contacting applicants for interview
- Dealing with recruitment enquiries
- Carrying out pre-employment enquiries
- HR administration including photocopying and filing
- Providing support to the HR team
- Good communicator
- Can work independently
- Asks for help when unsure
- Good IT skills
- Team player
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to follow instruction
- Confident approach to dealing with people
- Positive attitude
- Self motivated
- Has integrity
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Flexible approach to work and working hours
Minimum of Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
The candidate must have an interest in Human Resources and an understanding of how HR supports the business
If successful, the Apprentice may be offered a position within the organisation.
This is a fixed term contract for the length of time it takes to pass the end point assessment of the Apprenticeship, which is usually between 18 – 24 months
The hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, ideally 8.45am – 4.15pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
The successful candidate will undertake the CIPD Level 3 course (Certificate in Human Resources Practice) as part of the Apprenticeship, which will be paid for by Malvern College, and which will require attendance at a local College one day per week.
