Client Account Manager

DonateMySchool is platform owned and operated by Karadoo Finance Limited which is regulated and Authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Karadoo Finance Limited operates a platform which enables any school to collect donations from their immediate community and local businesses. Donations are used to pay for projects that the schools cannot afford from their own funds. Donations can be for specific projects or they can be in the form of regular payments that are used to fund the schools wish list of projects.

The role is a mixture of sales, customer services, client account management and administration. The Client Account Manager will be allocated a database of schools from which to develop a portfolio of client schools to manage. Therefore the role requires a degree of cold calling to individual schools.

When a school signs up for a fundraising campaign, the Client Account Manager assists in setting up the campaign for the school, helps to write campaign copy, and email, social media and press communications to market the campaign. For live campaigns the Client Account Manager monitors the campaign and keeps regular contact with the clients to ensure that the momentum of the campaign is maintained.

The candidate must possess superb communication skills, both written and verbal. The portfolio that you would manage will consist of between 30 and 40 client schools which will require regular contact.

Necessary skills:

  • Confident telephone manner;
  • Good inter-personal skills to establish a long-term client working relationship;
  • Fluent written English is essential as you will be producing and editing copy for web pages, fliers, press releases and school newsletters;
  • Team player as you will be working in a small office of 3-4 staff;
  • Experience of using a CRM software would be beneficial.

Terms:

The working hours will be 9:00 to 3:00 with a 30 minute lunch break during the school terms (39 weeks per annum) and would suit a parent with school aged children.  This will be a part time role.

There will be an initial 3 months probationary period after which a contract of employment will be issued.

The starting salary is £12,000 pa to be paid monthly in arrears, which will be reviewed annually.

 

The role is office based in Bath.
