Animal Welfare Advisor (Bovine TB)

Position: TB Adviser
Location: Nationwide
Job type: Full Time, 2-year fixed term contract
Salary: Circa GBP30,066 per annum plus company car

About the role:

The NFU is looking for a specialist TB Adviser to help co-ordinate applications for wildlife control licences and to provide a field-based advisory resource supporting farmers working to national TB licensing and trading rules.

The role will require someone with an in-depth knowledge of livestock farming, an eye for detail, strong organisational skills, good communication abilities and a 'can do' attitude. You must be motivated by a challenge and willing to take ownership of your own work area within a wider project.

The role will cover the West Midlands and Southwest region.
