We are currently supporting a well established manufacturing company who are seeking a Marketing Manager, based in Grimsby. The Marketing Manager holds ultimate responsibility for the Company's marketing activities and will execute the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.
Key responsibilities and duties of the role...
* Design, develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies in line with company objectives
* Create 12 month rolling marketing campaign, monitor progress and submit performance reports
* Full responsibility for the implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
* Working closely with the company's Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
* Work closely with the product management team to define marketing materials and programs
* Create, monitor, manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results
* Produce valuable and engaging content for the website
* Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve SEO, social media reputation and recognition
* Conduct market research and analysis to keep abreast of consumer trends, product trends and competitor's marketing movements
* Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
* Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and attributes..
* Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles
* Confident, driven and dynamic leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
* Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
* Experience within the personal care industry desirable (e.g. vitamins / minerals / food / supplements)
* Understanding of FMCG industry is highly desirable
* Bachelors or Master's degree in marketing / Professional chartered marketer (CIM).
