Area Manager

LOROS Enterprises Limited is the trading subsidiary of LOROS and is responsible for running the Charity's shops, which provide an important source of income to the Charity; this role will further improve the income needed to care for the patients at the Hospice.

Area Manager

37.5 hours per week to include some Saturday working

£25,339 to £27,098 per annum (depending on experience)

Reporting to the Deputy Retail Manager you will be one of two Area Managers responsible for realising the potential of the shops in order to achieve maximum profitability.  You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to lead, train and motivate the shop managers within your area of responsibility, ensuring that targets are met in line with agreed budgets.

To succeed in this role it is essential that you are target driven, have previous experience of both working in a successful retail environment and managing people across multiple sites.  Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain and develop an effective team.  In addition, you will be required to use your own transport to travel to and from our shops.
