Are you amazingly well organised, experienced in the use of ICT and a confident communicator?

Do you want to use these skills as a force for good to support some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Hull?

If this sounds like you, then you could be just what we are looking for to become the new School Business Manager at the Hull Virtual School.

The Virtual School has educational oversight for all of the Looked after Children in Hull, from the age of 4 to 18 years. This means that we are running the equivalent of a school for approximately 600 children, but the children are spread across 100 different educational establishments.

As the School Business Manager, you will have operational oversight of all of the monitoring and tracking systems that are in place to make this job possible. You will also need to master the electronic PEP (Personal Education Plan) system, to ensure that every school and every social worker completes their PEPs to a high standard and within a given timeframe. You will be the first point of contact for any schools or social workers who need help and support regarding the ePEPs.

As the School Business Manager, you will have direct responsibility for the distribution of the Pupil Premium Grant, which is approximately £1M a year.

If you believe you have the skills to take on this challenge, and the motivation to get the very best for every child, then this could be the post for you.
