Do you believe you can make a difference to the educational outcomes for Looked After Children in Hull?

Are you a qualified teacher with experience of working with Special Needs, Disadvantaged or Looked After Children?

If so, then this could be the post for you.

We are looking for an experienced classroom practitioner to work as a PEP Advisory Teacher in the Hull Virtual School. Your job will involve visiting LAC in each of their educational settings, to work with the Designated Teacher to ensure that all of our LAC are getting the best possible support and intervention to fulfil their potential.

You will attend regular PEP meetings, and other Multi-Agency meetings to ensure that the educational outcomes for LAC remains paramount. You will bring your specialist educational knowledge and experience of working with SEND, disadvantaged or LAC children, to advise schools on the variety of strategies and interventions that can be used to get the best possible outcomes for LAC. Your role is that of challenge and support, so can be demanding, but also immensely rewarding.
