QC LEAD SCIENTIST - PERMANENT - BERKSHIRE - UP TO GBP38,500
A leading manufacturing organisation based in Berkshire are looking for a QC Lead Scientist to join their QC team on a permanent basis.
As the Lead Scientist you will provide scientific support, mentoring and training to the Technologists and Scientists within the team and working closely with them to ensure GMP compliance is adhered to at all times. You will also provide your technical support against quality records i.e. deviatons, CAPAs, change controls and investigations as well as reports and SOPs for the department.
You will conduct testing and review of assays for release, stability, validation, method transfer and qualification studies against SOPs, protocols and GMP. The Lead Scientist will also lead and execute assay and process improvement projects for the team as well as participating in the introduction of new methods/ validation of methods for new technologies.
Suitable candidates will having working experience within a biopharmaceutical/ pharmaceutical environment within the Quality Control team and hold a Degree in Bio-Science or equivalent. You will have experience working as a Senior/ Lead team member overseeing the release and stability of products.
