General Practice Building Surveyor, Permanent, Kings Lynn/Norwich, GBPCo

R13 Recruitment are working in collaboration with an international, commercial company in their recruit for a skilled General Practice Building Surveyor to join their team in either, Norwich, Kings Lynn or Bury St Edmunds. The purpose of this role will be to undertake residential bank and red book valuations, along with home buyers reports and building reports plus other similar work across Norfolk & Suffolk for security, tax and matrimonial purposes.

Your duties will include:

• Dealing with clients on a day to day basis, taking instructions from them and discussing fees.
• Provide accurate valuations and appraisals of properties in accordance with RICS guidelines.
• Identifying and analysing potentials defects in buildings and overall condition.
• Undertaking residential bank and red book valuations for security, tax and matrimonial purposes.
• Conduction home buyers reports and building reports plus other similar work across Norfolk & Suffolk.
• Undertaking follow up visits where required.
• Reviewing drawings created by other members of staff.
• Developing the business, as well as, key relationships with clients.

You will have/be:

• MRIC qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience.
• Experience of valuations within the residential property sector.
• proven track record in undertaking general practice instructions.
• Professional and friendly manner when communicating face to face with clients.
• Excellent IT skills together with experience in using management software.
• Strong administration skills with accurate attention to detail.
• Good time management.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity working from either Bury St Edmunds, Norwich or Kings Lynn. You will be working Monday to Friday.
