Senior Ecologist
Location: Southampton
Ref: ALG2028
I'm currently looking for a Senior Ecologist to join an Environmental consultancy based in Hampshire to work across Southern UK.
You will be working alongside a fun and friendly team who provide a healthy work/life balance.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
A degree in Ecology or a relevant discipline,
Demonstrable consultancy experience,
Project coordination and management experience,
Protected Species licenses desirable, particularly bats,
Full CIEEM membership is advantageous,
Excellent report writing capabilities,
Client liaison & project tendering,
Experience in preparing fee proposals and tenders,
Full, UK driving licence.
Whilst working as an Ecologist, you will be involved in;
Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA),
Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA),
Preliminary Ecological Appraisals,
Leading an Ecology team,
Involved in protected species surveys,
Client liaison,
Preparing fee proposals.
