We are currently looking for a passionate Event Planning Manager, to join our Banqueting Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming team on a permanent basis, and help us to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other.

At The resort, our purpose is to enrich the journeys of our people and our guests and as a Event Planning Manager, your main duties will include:

* To meet guests and discuss details pertaining to the organisation of events.
* To prepare written proposals to all social events within 24 hours of enquiry and ensure follow up calls are made within 3 days, ensuring the activity system in Opera is kept up to date.
* To conduct Hotel and Banqueting show rounds wherever necessary to help sell the facilities for future events.
* To proactively contact clients in the organisation of their events and through pre-planning have event details ready for weekly issue.
* To participate and offer advice at clients' menu tastings with guidance from the Chef.

As an Event Planning Manager, you will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil your duties and in any event not less than 40 hours in each week.


The main attribute you will need to posses is the ability to run multi events on the same day or week and control the diary in a way that will not miss anything.
