Brewster Partners are supporting a leading education provider, offering alternative provisions in terms of the national curriculum.

This provider is nationally recognised in terms of providing market leading educational opportunities.

They are now looking to appoint a new Alternative Provisions Manager to join their team in the head office.


The primary focus of this role will be to hold responsibility for the day to day operations of a vocational education provision including, day to day operational management of the various provisions, curriculum development in line with individual industry developments, as well as oversight of the health and safety and safeguarding of young people.

You will lead a core team of Provision Managers in accordance with the organisation's

policies and procedures under the guidance of the Head of Provision Services

Responsibilities are varied and


Searching for and providing innovative ways of engaging young people
Line management responsibilities
Overseeing curriculum management, development and delivery
Ensure Group leads delegate the delivery of the curriculum to teaching staff
Quality assurance on all schemes of work and lesson plans.
Taking a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the business
Developing strong network connections


The successful candidate should possess a strong sense of resilience with the ability to think

creatively in order to problem solve and overcome obstacles. You should be a structured

practitioner who prides themselves on being organised and able to manage multiple

workloads. Strong people skills are a must for this role with the ability to develop a trust and

rapport at all levels.

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service


A minimum Level 4 or 5 professional qualification in education, health or social care (e.g. NQT, QTS, DipSW, NQLT)

Produce evidence of previous CPD (e.g. first aid, safeguarding training, diversity training, CAF/EHC training, IOSHH)

Six years experience of working with children and young people or vulnerable adults within an education, health or social care setting

Significant case management experience, as either a Learning Manager or Vocational Group Leader
