Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Key stage: KS1 & KS2
Location: Basilidon
Start date: September 2019

This is a large primary school based in basildon which has a keen focus on developing its pupils so that they progress in their lives to become confident and responsible people. The school is set on large grounds with excellent facilities both indoors and out. This is a warm and welcoming school and they endeavour to support all their pupils to perform to the best of their abilities.
The role
We are looking for an experienced learning support assistant, who has a strong commitment to working with children to join our team. You will be supporting the pupils in all aspects of their learning and development. You will be working closely with the class teacher and the school SENCO to ensure that the pupils gain full and meaningful access to the curriculum. This is initially for 1 month, but could be extended.
The successful applicant is expected to:
Qualifications - C grade or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English.
Have previous experience working as a primary learning support assistant (LSA).
Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff members.
