Coyne Recruitment work with the leading providers of Employability & Skills across the UK. We are currently working with one such provider in Preston who are recruiting for Performance Manager to lead contract performance, development and recruitment of the team and build a motivational environment for staff and participants. Leasing a team of delivery staff and support staff to ensure successful delivery of a contract in order to maximise the achievement of outcomes and deliver the performance expectations of prime contractors and commissioners.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to complete an online application form a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Please note that the successful candidate will not be required to pay for this.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the successful delivery of team targets for prime contractors and commissioners

* Maximise the placing and sustainment of customers into jobs or learning

* Meet the recruitment and training needs of employers

* Lead and support a team of delivery and support staff to drive high levels of contract performance

* Responsibility for P&L account results including achievement of income targets, managing staff productivity, client spend and office costs

* Development of local relationships to ensure a good range of provision to support customers

* Development of local relationships and effective marketing activities to ensure the service receives customer referrals to meet contractual requirements

* Delivery of high quality and compliant services to customers

* Continuous improvement of systems, quality of provision and product development

* Management of data integrity and data security, including maintenance of the required audit trail

* Management of petty cash and client spend

* Maintain current knowledge of relevant policy (local and national)

* Maintain current knowledge of appropriate market intelligence and business opportunities/threats

* Ensure services are delivered with probity and integrity

* Responsibility for up to 25 staff

* Responsibility for individual budgets (levels vary depending on the nature of the programme and financial model).

You will be a strong people manager from a skills and or Employability background able to demonstrate through CV, Application and interview how you have driven positive performance and developed people in your team. A strong understanding of the Preston and wider Lancashire labour market is an advantage. This role will carry a large element of autonomy but confident report writing, and delivery styles are crucial to keep directors and the wider business abreast of performance. You will be MI focused and be able to use data to influence performance and business decisions
