Training - Paralegal - Litigation Executive - Law Degree - GDL - LPC - Motor & casualty - M&C - Southampton
We are looking for experienced Litigation Executives and Paralegals, or graduates who have completed a Law Degree / GDL / LPC, to join one of the UK's leading law firms in their Southampton office near Fareham. The firm is growing, and they are looking for talented people to join their Motor & Casualty (M&C) team.
The ideal candidate will have completed a law degree / GDL / LPC, have previous file handling experience or worked in the insurance industry. Whilst experience and qualifications are important, above all they hire based on potential so, if you are enthusiastic and want to learn and / or fast-track your career they are able to offer you the training and career opportunities you will need to succeed. (NB. All training contracts for this firm are offered internally, and all employees are eligible to apply for a training contract on completion of their probation period).
Working 35 hours a week (with flexible start & finish times) from their modern office in Southampton, with free parking close by, the firm has a strong reputation for training, developing and nurturing employees. Main Duties of the Litigation Executive M&C Role include:
* Ensuring cases are dealt with in accordance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards
* To practice good file management
* Ensure all important dates are diarised
* Keep up to date with all correspondence relating to files
* Manage your time effectively ; and
* Complete MI and the understanding of SLA's
