Health and Safety Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Health and Safety Coordinator who shares our passion for continuous innovation and customer satisfaction who can put health and safety first at our fulfilment centre in Chesterfield, S43 4PZ.

Pay Rate as a Health and Safety Coordinator:

• GBP10.50 per hour

Typical Shift Pattern as a Health and Safety Coordinator:

• Monday to Friday
• Flexibility will be required
• 6 month temporary contract

Benefits as a Health and Safety Coordinator:

• Weekly pay
• 28 days holiday pro-rata

Responsibilities of a Health and Safety coordinator:

• Ability to carry out SMART behaviour audits
• Enter safety observations into the database and analyse their results
• Know their own level of competence and not give information outside this level
• Work closely with Amazon H&S management on site
• Analyse and report on data in cases of incidents or accidents
• Monitor employees for compliance to safety procedures
• Update database with safety observations
• Challenge unsafe behaviour

Skills we'd like our Health and Safety coordinator to have:

• Project and time management experience
• Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Proven ability to quickly learn and effectively adhere to new processes and procedures
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business
• Drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation
• PC skills including Word Excel & PowerPoint
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
