An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced individual to join a leading agricultural service and product supplier as an Agricultural CAD Project Manager. The purpose of this role will be, tendering for the business, using CAD to design grain stores/silos and the project managing the completion of the grain stores/silos. You will also be supervising a team of two engineers, with the view to head up the department in 3-4 years.

For this role you will be someone with strong technical acumen, project management skills and experience using Auto CAD. This is a fantastic role with clear progression opportunities.

Your duties will include:

* Designing grain and crop storage solutions using Auto CAD and other similar software, ensuring these meet the requirements of the client.

* Managing the overall project, monitoring and reporting on this when necessary.

* Meeting with clients in order to gain a strong understanding of their needs and providing detailed cost analysis to them.

* Providing updates on project status to clients and escalating any potential issues.

* Creating all required documents and plans.

* Communicating with service providers in situations where projects require certain utilities and developing solutions in order to ensure these are provided.

* Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely completion of projects.

* Liaising with planning and building regulation inspectors to ensure legal compliance of the projects.

* Managing another internal team, learning about this team and past projects to ensure eventual smooth transition into more senior role.

You will have/be:

* At least 2 years industry experience (ideally dealing with grain and crop storage processes but this isn't essential)

* Proven experience using Auto CAD or a similar software.

* Evidence of technical acumen in a similar industry.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Proven experience leading a team.

* Used to working under pressure.

* High level of attention to detail.

* The ability to work flexibly and adapt when necessary.

* Full UK driver's license.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this position is up to GBP30,000 per annum, dependant on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also on offer.
