Fixed Term from October 2019 - March 2020 based in Walsall
YMCA Black Country Group is seeking to appoint a Coordinator to coordinate the delivery of Walsall Night Shelter, which will be located in Walsall.
We are looking for an individual who has a real heart and passion for supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs and who may also be rough sleepers.
This role will require resilience and confidence to work with men and women from differing backgrounds with an ability to work as part of a team.
The post holders must have experience of coordinating provision for vulnerable adults with alcohol and drug problems and of overseeing assessments and developing client support pathways.
The post holders will provide an effective and professional service to service users, external agencies and coordinate a team of nightly volunteers, with the ability to liaise with other agencies and know how to deal with enquiries, communicate messages, and carry out building and service user's risk assessments.
The applicant must complete an enhanced DBS check before taking up the role.
