£16.50 per hour

Temporary contract (November 2019 - April 2020), 25 hours per week 

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Loader to come and join their team in Purfleet to work in their Distribution and Operations Department.

Working evenings you will supervise the transfer of LPG from articulated tanker to receiving minibulk tankers, ensuring safe loading procedures are followed at all times. You’ll drive 3 mini-bulk trucks between two depots and occasionally you will be required to carry out deliveries to their customers.

Reporting to the Area Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible and proactive in HSE or security issues as well as ensuring the site is secure at all times.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in the LPG business and have HGV experience. It is essential that you have a driving licence, class 2 HGV and ADR Class 2, Gases and tanks as well as a digital tachograph card and CPC card. You must be a self motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as team whilst also being reliable and punctual. With a positive attitude you will be able to work flexibly as additional hours may be required on occasions.
