Is SEO your speciality? Can you spot a search trend a mile off and use it to improve your clients' account? If the answer is "why, yes", then they'd love you to join the team as a Search Consultant. They'd like you to take sole ownership of optimising and improving the performance of the organic search accounts, reporting to the Head of SEO. You'll need to be able to work pretty independently, but you will collaborate closely with the search team, Client Services and the wider agency (you lucky thing!)

Job Role:

Responsibility for delivery of high quality SEO campaigns for medium to large organic search accounts for clients, drawing on support where necessary. Take sole ownership of optimising and improving the performance of the organic search accounts while suggesting possible future enhancements with the support of the Head of SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for day to day delivery and management of medium - to large scale SEO account
  • Take responsibility for projects throughout their lifecycle and taking on board input from senior members of the team
  • Suggesting possible future enhancements to both client projects and wider team processes with the support of the Head of SEO
  • Support the client services function with client reporting, statistics and opportunities where required
  • Use analytical skills, helping analyse trends and finding insights and actions in the large amounts of data at their disposal
  • Be able to have direct contact with clients of all levels and other stakeholders in order to answer questions, provide insight or analysis on many technical and strategic elements with only occasional support from more senior members of the agency
  • To prepare for and lead meetings for clients at all levels in order to confidently represent the SEO service in front of existing clients - with only occasional support from more senior members of the agency
  • To positively contribute to the strategic direction of client accounts and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Working independently to set personal deadlines and manage workflow, while taking shared ownership and involvement with wider work planning

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Ability to deliver successful creative and effective organic search campaigns in highly competitive markets
  • Good understanding of all elements of organic search
  • Extensive SEO Experience of all aspects that contribute to a successful SEO campaign
    • Keyword research
    • Competitor analysis
    • Technical onsite SEO
    • Reporting
    • Link acquisition
    • Outreach & PR
    • CRO
    • Site speed analysis
    • Content planning
    • Google Analytics experience
  • GAIQ would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel to the level of functions, formulas, tables, Vlookups and macros
  • Creative thinking when faced with a problem to identify the issues and suggest actions
  • Understanding of marketing online, and the interplay between various disciplines
