Resident Medical Officer
Resident Medical Officer (RMO) posts in select UK NHS and private hospitals on one week on/one week off rotations with pay packages £30,000 - £62,000 per annum depending on rota, minimum 12 month contract, various start times and rotas available:
- Resident 24 hours per day
- Combined rotas, with 5 days per week or 7 days per week working schedules (average 8 hours per day).
- Also Resident posts with 12 hour duty rotas
The RMO must be comfortable dealing with all common medical and surgical emergency cases so previous acute medical or emergency medicine experience is required (2 years+).
Valid ALS/ACLS and EPLS/PALS resuscitation qualifications (as well as recent appropriate emergency medical experience) are required plus evidence of GMC registration with full licence to practice. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by Cape Medical.
All candidates may be required to undergo a clinical assessment for suitability to work independently as an RMO.
