Our Client are recruiting for a Senior Town Planner to join their dedicated team in offering the highest standard or service and advice within the planning sector in the Northampton area. Offering a wide range of services from planning, estate agency and surveying within commercial, development and residential industries this growing company has a large client base.
As Senior Town Planner you will be working within a specialised planning team on a variety of projects seeing them through from initiation through to completion. You will be offering support using your in-depth knowledge of the industry and experience to other members of the team. The role of Senior Town Planner involves working with clients directly and onsite visits, a full driver's license and own transport is essential.
The successful Senior Town Planner will either come from an experienced background or be eager to step up for their first Senior position. You will have strong organisational skills and time management to manage your own workload and schedule. You should also have the ability to think outside the box and adapt to the industry whilst keeping up to date with all planning policies and legislation. Senior Town Planner Position Overview
Working on reports, appraisals, applications and appeals
Manage own workload and to a reasonable timeframe
Working directly with clients
Site visits and client meetings
Offer support to more within the team of planners as required
Overseeing overall planning process
Senior Town Planner Position Requirements
Degree qualified in relevant subject
Member of the RTPI or accredited
3 years plus experience within planning
Up to date knowledge or planning policy
IT literate and knowledge of basic software packages
Full driver's license and own transport
Senior Town Planner Position Remuneration
Salary dependant on experience
Performance related bonus
