Bench Joiner
Location: Soham
Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30am - 17:00pm
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
We are currently looking for a qualified Bench Joiner for a busy and growing workshop in Soham. In this role you will be expected to work both individually and as part of a team and have the ability to work from plans and workshop drawings to maintain their excellent standards.
The Main Duties of this role include:
Reading technical drawings
Operating Joinery machinery and tools
Sorting/selecting timber
Machining and assembling bespoke components for windows and doors
Ideally being able to assemble staircases, although this is not essential.
You will be required to:
Work both individually and as part of a team.
Have the ability to work from plans and workshop drawings.
A good knowledge of general machinery would be preferred.
Basic hand tools will be required but all power tools etc are provided.
