Laboratory Materials Technician

If you are looking for a varied job role this is the job for you, the biggest must for this job is previous experience working within a laboratory environment Calibrating and Testing equipment, someone who has worked within a IS0 / UKAS would be a massive advantage.

All training is provided, in regards to the administration part of the job. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to have total ownership of the role and work independently. This company will give you all the training and upport, everyone pulls together and have the same goal.

Day To day Duties Laboratory 30 % / 40 % Laboratory working in the alone
Calibrating and testing customers equipment to TME technical procedures adhering to ISO /UKAS requirements
Testing and calibrating the engineers equipment when required.

The rest of the time you will be working in the office within a team of 3

Day to Day office Duties
Keeping detailed logs of customer equipment
Quoting customers and ensuring it's all logged on VANTAGE
Booking customers equipment in and Out
Maintaining lab equipment and ensuring work area is clean and tidy
Issuing purchase orders
Maintaining stock levels
Processing orders
Processing orders
Stock control

GBP25,000 pa
08.30 - 17.00 Monday - Friday
20 Days' Holiday 1 day for every year worked ( max 5 days )
