Scolmore Group is currently seeking a Creative Artworker to join our team based at our Head Office in Tamworth, West Midlands. As part of this fast-paced design studio, you will work alongside a team of 6 graphic designers providing a complete in-house service, covering all design requirements for the business.

Scolmore Group is a leading manufacturer of wiring accessories, lighting and security products.

As a Creative Artworker your duties will include:

* Providing graphic design support for the following requirements: Packaging Artwork, Promotional Leaflets, Product Photography / Clipping, Catalogue updates, Web Updates, Brand identity.

* Preparing work from concept to final artwork, to a high standard of accuracy and within the deadline.

* Designing artwork for all channels - both traditional & digital.

* Maintaining brand consistency throughout your work, adhering to Brand Guidelines always.

* Improving the efficiency of the department and following Studio processes.

* Digital HTML skills to create animated web banners, emails etc.

* Retouching and image manipulation.

* Maintaining the product image library.

* Quality control and proofing of work produced (working with printers as required)

* Cutting out and re-purposing of images.

* Developing of style sheets and brand guidelines.

To be a successful Creative Artworker you will have the following skills and experience:

* Knowledge and understanding of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Animate, Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS.

* Extremely strong typography skills.

* Good knowledge of packaging, including pre-production and print process

* Experience working in a busy creative studio environment

* Previous experience working in a similar role, particularly with POS, promotional leaflets, packaging and digital collateral.

* In-Depth knowledge of the pre-production and print process

* Knowledge of cross-platform UX and UI design and best practices (desktop/mobile/tablet)

* The ability to sharpen type and polish layouts.

* A knack of producing work from scratch, as well as from scamps
Complete knowledge and understanding of Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (CC).

* You'll be an all-round artwork professional.

* Experience of working in a Studio
