Full time - 37.5 hours per week

The new Advice and Information Line service will provide an innovative prevention model intended to help people remain healthy and to detect problems early so there is a better chance of remaining well and avoiding crisis and will be able to give people instant advice/information /guidance plus listening time.

The service will be available to support/enable people with mental health issues to independently seek support on a wide range of social and health issues. The service is aimed at people who have mental health issues and their carers'. It is a city wide service focussing on people facing a social and or mental health crisis or those affected by isolation and loneliness.

The Advice/Information Line will operate 9 am- 5 pm, Monday to Friday, but its success will be monitored for a possible future extension.

You will be supporting and managing a staff team to provide support to people who are experiencing mental health difficulties. You will be maintaining standards and outcomes in line with contract demands. You will ensure a strong focus on reporting and service standards. You will be liaising with key stakeholders to ensure that the support provided is relevant and up to date. You will be supporting staff and volunteers to achieve the most from their resources and ensuring a service that has a vision and drive as well as quality and continuity of delivery.

You will have experience working within a management role in a voluntary or paid role in the mental health role
