An experienced HR advisor is required to directly support the HR Business Partner in all areas of HR for a large, national Organisation.

In this varied, generalist role, the successful applicant will play a key part in project work and reporting.

The successful candidate will will provide efficient and pragmatic HR advice within the organisation by providing clear employment advice and guidance to both employees and managers in the areas of Absence management, Performance management, Reward and recognition, Training & development, Grievance and disciplinary, Terminations, Probationary reviews, capability reviews and performance improvement plans, Restructures & redundancies and Contractual queries and policy deployment.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for ensuring all employee information is accurate, up to date and GDPR Compliant.

Analysing trends and performance data to provide high level HR reporting/proposals
Providing support and guidance to all employees in completing annual assessments.
Assisting with designing and facilitating basic training for staff.
Developing and deploying Policy.
Managing leaver process including providing basic references to prospective employers.
Assuming overall responsibility for the HR Queries Inbox.
Managing, monitoring and recording probationary reviews.
Providing cover for HR Administrator to ensure contracts, offer letters and variations are completed.
Managing exit interview process.
Creating and standardising job descriptions.
The ideal person will be CIPD qualified (or working towards) with a minimum of 3 years generalist HR experience. You will have an up to date knowledge of employment and case law.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft platforms such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word are essential. HR Systems experience is desirable
