My client based in Plymouth are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their Regeneration team. This exciting opportunity is to act as the Technical and Design Authority for built assets, providing specialist professional advice for the strategic management of built assets towards the achievement of the organisation's corporate goals.
Key responsibilities include management of the procurement of advanced inspections; identify health and safety repairs; to update survey results onto the relevant IT system; to assist the Senior Surveyor in the development of block maintenance and planned maintenance programmes and to act as a mentor for graduate and assistant surveyors to enable them to become a Member of RICS.
To be successful within this role you will be a member of RICS with 2-5 years post qualification experience in a consultancy background; to be educated to RICS approved diploma or degree level in Building Surveying and to have or be prepared to work towards a relevant Health and Safety qualification. Full driving licence is essential.
