Conveyancing Assistant (Permanent) Pontypridd

Salary Dependent on Experience. Competitive Package

My Clients are a fantastic Law Practice with offices located in Cardiff and Pontypridd.

Due to continued growth and expansion a vacancy exists for a Conveyancing Assistant in their Pontypridd Office.

The Role:

Provide support to secretaries and partners as required

Prepare Correspondence and documents using audio typing, word processing and or digital dictation methods.

Arrange for all copying to be done.

Preparation of mail and enclosures for dispatch.

Make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up to date diary for the partner.

Experience required

Attend to clients in person and over the phone and ensure all communications are professional and friendly and in keeping with the practices standards for client care.

Promote the practice when and where possible

Maintain professional standards at all times.

Your Responsibilities:

The Conveyancing Assistant will provide a total support service to the Fee Earners, enabling him/her to operate at optimum efficiency. You will be expected to work efficiently and effectively using a high degree of self-management and initiative

You must be competent in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.

You need to have experience of diary management and customer service.

You will need to have previous experience working in a residential conveyancing department and to be able to effectively manage a varied caseload to strict deadlines.

To undertake specific training when required to do so and take responsibility for your own self-development.

Ensure confidentiality of all practice and client documentation and information.

To deal effectively with all aspects of filing, and opening, closing, and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual.

Requirements:

Candidates with a minimum of 1 year residential conveyancing experience will be considered.

At times you will be required to work outside of normal contractual hours to achieve the required level of Client service.

Other Ad Hoc tasks as required by the partners.
