Salary: GBP30,000 to GBP40,000
Location: Trimdon Grange
DLI Engineering are looking to recruit a Senior Inspector to join their QA Department in Trimdon, Co Durham manufacturing parts for the Oil, Gas & Aerospace Industries.
As part of a successful team this role requires QA Inspector candidates with experience of:
* Programming and operating CMM Machines
* Completing First Article Inspection Reports
* Completing in process and final inspections
* It is important that applicants can demonstrate they can:
* Measure and report on parts to tight tolerances
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Manage the Non-Conformance process of parts with customers and suppliers to a conclusion in a professional and organised way
* Organise and manage the calibration system
As most of the work is bespoke and a high percentage one offs and small batch runs, this is an interesting and varied position that requires someone to have an organised and calm approach to problem solving and working with a small team of Inspectors.
We operate shift patterns 6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm, 6pm till 6am with an opportunity of overtime as required. OTE in excess of GBP30K.
