Electrical Technician (Installation)

39 hour a week contract
Circa GBP11 to GBP12 per hour + Overtime (Up to 15 hours extra a week) + Company Pension + Fuel Card + Stay Away Allowance
Electrical Technician (Installation) required for a growing successful independent manufacturer. This is a new role due to continuing growth within their industry. This is a great opportunity to work for a company offering full product training who still have that family feel.
To apply for the role you must hold 17th/18th edition electrical regulations qualification. You will ideally be a qualified electrical engineer holding Level 2/3 electrical qualifications or equivalent. Full product training will be given so experience on pumps is NOT essential. Electrical ex forces applicants are encouraged to apply. First aid training, confined space training, manufacturing product training will all be given.
The role will suit those looking for training and progression. The base salary is for 39 hours a week, most of the installation engineers work 45-50 hours a week and stay away 1 night a week. You are paid GBP20 per a night when staying away plus accommodation allowance.
The role is installing, commissioning and servicing pumping equipment across the UK. You will work in a team of two and travel to the jobs across the UK, on average staying away 1 night a week. The work is primarily on new build housing estates and existing pumping stations. When required you will also work at head office in Crewe building and testing machinery.
The role will suit those looking for a really successful company that design, build and commission all their machinery. They truly look after their staff (staff turnover is very low), and can provide lots of in depth, specialist training.
The Role:
* Installing and commissioning pumping equipment
* Attending routine service and maintenance visits and breakdown call outs.
* Working across the UK, staying away approx. 1 nights a week.
* 5-15 hours a week overtime available.
* Complete site reports after each visit.
The Electrical Technician (Installation):
* Holds a 17th/ 18th edition wiring regs.
* Electrical Engineer, NVQ level 2 or equivalent desired.
* Happy to stay away 1-2 nights a week
