Being a successful CNC machinist in either a F1 team or a well renowned sub con manufacturer, it's likely that you're earning a good salary and working with people who are at the top of their game.
But is now the time in your career to make a high impact move and get your teeth stuck into a role where you can make a real difference? Yes, it probably is.
We have partnered together to recruit for a skilled CNC Machinist who will work autonomously on their machines and will influence tool paths and strategies with their CAD/CAM programmer so if you are fed up of working in a heavily process driven environment this could be for you.
The business is young sub-contract one, with an impressive order book and they aspire to double in size in terms of headcount within the next year. They are not only just passionate about what they do but they are also passionate about their people, so in return they offer a strong hourly rate and overtime, and as they supply into the Motorsport industry there is plenty of it!
Now down to the technical details; they have DMG and Matsuura machines with both Heidenhain and Fanuc controls, so previous experience of these controls with anytime type of CNC machine is exactly what we are looking for.
So, to recap; you've progressed to a good level with your current position/ team but you are wanting to work in an autonomous environment where you make the engineering decision and if you've used Heidenhain and Fanuc controls we would love to hear from you.
