FPGA Design Support Engineer
A leading provider of embedded systems for processing, communication, storage, and platform interoperability due to growth are now looking for an FPGA Design Support Engineer to join their UK operation.
Reporting into the UK Managing Director, the successful individual will be working within a combined test design and support capacity; taking design briefs from customers; developing example VHDL code and RTL reference designs on Xilinx to demonstrate interface capabilities between cards to customers as well as support internal engineering teams on the development of new high end products.
The successful individual is likely to be degree qualified within Electrical / Electronic Engineering and can demonstrate extensive experience within digital electronics design working with Xilinx Virtex and/or Kintex UltraScale or UltraScale+ FPGA's.
Individuals who have experience of C/C++ programming; an understanding of the software development lifecycle or previously worked with signal processing for radar / communications applications would also be of distinct interest to our client, though not essential.
This position is offering a salary in the region of GBP55,000 - GBP60,000 together with associated benefits including non-contributory pension of 8% and 25 days holiday.
