Four Star Hotel seeks Chef de Partie to join the exsisting team.
Duties to include -
Manage a section within the kitchen.
Ensure dishes are prepared, cooked and presented in accordance with the specific standards.
Manage the development and supervision of the Commis Chefs on your section, ensuring they are fully trained and understand their duties.
Stock control and rotation within your specific section of the kitchen. Ensure the cleaning schedule is adhered to.
Maintain a detailed knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions.
Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to.
Qualities/Qualifications/Experience -
Qualified to NVQ Level 2.
HACCP compliaince within the kitchen.
Have previous experience in a Demi or Chef de Partie role, preferably within a formal or fine dining enviroment, as well as banqueting service.
Lead by example. Able to work effectively under pressure, thrive in a challenging enviroment.
Communicate clearly & professionally.
Be able to understand and demonstrate the business vision and goals
