Hygiene Operative (Night Shift)

My client is based in West Sussex and manages a well established and prestigious Global farming and food business. They grow, process, pack and market a range of fresh produce, for leading retailers and restaurants. They are looking to recruit a permanent Hygiene operative to join their professional Night Shift team asap. The Main duties of the Hygiene Operative are -
- Ensuring that COSHH regulations and all H&S, Company routines, policies, and SOP's are fully complied with.
- Cleaning equipment and facilities, ensuring accurate cleaning records are maintained.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Reporting Hygiene/food safety issues to line manager.
- Ensuring cleaning chemicals are used and stored correctly.
- Continuing to improve the Hygiene department.
The Ideal Hygiene Operative will -
- Have strong communication skills.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Have a can do attitude.
- Have knowledge of Fresh Produce Industry Standards.
- Have Level 2 Food Safety.
- Have Industrial Cleaing experience and working knowledge of Industrial Cleaning machines.
