Are you looking for the opportunity to work with an exciting and progressive firm which continues to grow? Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated lawyer to join their litigation team.
This role is ideal for a Solicitor or Legal Executive with genuine ability and proven experience.
The job
The role involves joining an existing team of 3 Litigation Lawyers dealing with a variety of commercial and civil litigation. It does not involve dealing with personal injury and medical negligence work (they have 2 other experienced solicitors dealing with that work exclusively).
The job will broadly replace an existing lawyer's caseload - with the current caseload split broadly as follows;
* Professional negligence claims, partnership disputes and company disputes - 70%
* Other commercial and civil litigation - 30%
The successful candidate
The right candidate will have:
* At least 4 years' solid experience of civil and commercial litigation work which preferably would include experience of professional negligence claims, partnership disputes and director, shareholder and company disputes - and an ability to run these sort of cases unsupervised
* A desire to help in the growth of the litigation department
* Great people skills and will be an enthusiastic team player
* Good organisational. time management and IT skills
* High standards of customer care
* A history of strong billing
