The starting salary will be from £21,236 pro rata on Grade D, depending on qualifications and experience.
This new part time (0.8FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2020.
Summary of the role
You will participate specifically in a new initiative linked to the Institute of Coding (IoC). The IoC is a new £20m initiative involving more than 60 Universities, businesses and industry experts, intended to transform the way in which digital skills are taught in the UK. The University of Exeter is a major partner in the IoC and is participating in several IoC projects. This post will provide finance support for this project specifically, from within the research finance service team.
The post will involve providing finance support to the project manager of the Institute of Coding at the University of Exeter. This will include providing an overview of the financial position each month to support the reporting process, in addition to dealing with transaction queries, support monthly timesheet processes, and other day-to-day finance activities.
You will work with the IoC Exeter Project Manager and alongside the research finance service team.
