Job purpose:
To provide a full engineering support service to all areas of the business aiming to minimise machine and equipment downtime and maximise preventative maintenance on a permanent night shift.
Night shift - 7pm to 7am
Engineering operate a 24/6 cover, working on a 3 days on 4 days off rota.
We are looking for someone who will complement the team with a balance of skills and experience:
Experience of working as a fully qualified Maintenance Technician
Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating an understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably food processing.
Experience working with manufacturing systems; related controls and instrumentation systems
Experience of process, packaging and service equipment
The ideal candidate will have experience in or any of the following qualifications:
BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline or Multi skilled engineering qualification or C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro - technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance
Time served as an engineering apprentice
17th Edition Electrical qualification
HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
