Job Title: Casual 7.5 Tonne Parcel Delivery & Collection Lorry Driver ( With Digi Tacho and CPC)
Location: Poole
Pay Rates: From GBP11.00 per hour (plus a higher rate for overtime/ nights). Pay increases with service to up to GBP17 per hour
Job Type: Casual work
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE A ONE TIME TRIP TO SOUTHAMPTON TO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL PAPER WORK
7.5 Tonne Driver required for a casual contract for a Parcel Delivery company in Poole
This position is expected to start in the next 7 working days (subject to vetting) and in the future could lead to more solid work. Although initially this will be ad hoc work, the client starts getting busier now so we are expecting full time, ongoing work to be available
The role is to trunk parcels from the clients premises to other locations . The role will also require delivery approx. 15 deliveries and collections a day plus loading and unloading items.
We are expecting this role to start within few days, and will be regular ongoing work for the right person
A minimum of 6 months 7.5 Tonne lorry driving experience is essential, as well as having a digi tacho card
ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE CPC QUALIFIED
Applicants who do not meet this criteria will automatically be rejected.
For insurance purposes, applicants must be over 23
Applications cannot be accepted from anyone who has an unspent criminal conviction for fraud, violent or sexual offences
Due to the nature of the role, the company requires an in depth security clearance check and 5 years of residency. Anyone who can not provide this information will automatically be rejected
Applicants must be able to safely lift parcels up to 30kg, and be confident in driving a 7.5T vehicle in both urban and rural areas.
