Starboard Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious new client based in the Barnsley area. An exciting full-time permanent opportunity has arisen to join a European market leading major supplier of stainless-steel products.

Our client is looking for a forward-thinking Business Development Manager to join the team.

Role Requirements

* You will act as driving force to generate new sales leads and contacts within the Stainless-steel industry.

* Achieve sales targets through the identification and development of new end user clients, across all relevant business sectors buying products supplied through their Brand.

* Build long standing relationships with customers and ensure they continue to be satisfied with our client's services

* Manage and grow the key account list to maximise sales and profit.

The Candidate:

* Minimum of 3 years of proven sales success in the Stainless-steel industry.

* Hardworking, target driven and hungry for success

* Possess prompt and accurate reporting skills

* Fully proficient in the use of all Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

* Motivated

* Excellent work ethic

* Ability to work on own initiative

* Excellent communication skills

* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail

* Customer focused attitude

* Undertake any additional training and any other duties as required
