Tutor of A level Sociology (maternity cover)

Hours: 29.6 hours per week (0.8 fte) Monday - Wednesday & Friday
Salary: Up to GBP34,787 pro rata per annum (subject to experience and qualifications). Plus generous benefits. These include:

55 days annual leave pro rata per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

Required from November 2019 to cover a period of maternity leave within the Sociology team.

Our client is looking for a Tutor with experience of delivering AQA Sociology at AS level to play a supporting role in a large and high performing A level Sociology course.

The successful applicant must be an excellent teacher with a background in delivering A level teaching. A willingness to provide pastoral support is also essential.

The role is fixed-term for around 8 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
