Adullam Homes are looking for a Project Worker to join their team in Matlock.
Job Title: Project Worker
Salary: GBP20,000 per annum following a successful 6 months' probationary period
Location: Matlock
Job Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Adullam was formed in 1972 and we are a not for profit organisation working in the community with vulnerable and excluded people from a diverse range of backgrounds providing support through a variety of high quality housing, support and advice services.
Project Worker - The Role:
We have a great opportunity for a Project Worker to work in conjunction with Derbyshire Dales District Council in our Matlock office. The service provides one to one support, and occasional group work, to vulnerable adults, aged 18+ in need of housing related support.
In the role of Project Worker, you will assist homeless adults, or those at risk of homelessness, access suitable accommodation; help them develop the skills and ability to sustain a tenancy and liaise with accommodation providers, especially Private Sector Landlords
Project Worker - Experience:
- You will have experience of providing accommodation based and floating support services and knowledge of housing law and options
- You will have the ability to empathise with service users' needs and be able to motivate them to achieving goals and promote their independence
- You will also have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to achieve positive outcomes
- Proven IT skills together with great organisational and time management abilities
- Ideally, you will have a full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
